What are the responsibilities and job description for the Basketball Referee position at Players Sport & Social Group?
Players Sport & Social Group (PSSG) is a leading organization in the community of Chicago, hosting and facilitating large scale adult recreational sports leagues and social events.
PSSG are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team of referees for adult Volleyball leagues. We aim to deliver Social Sport Competitions which offer a fun and safe environment for people to play sport; and we’re looking for experienced supervisors to help us make that happen.
The successful applicant will preferably exhibit the following traits:
· Reliability
· Sound communication skills
· Sound knowledge of rules for Basketball
· Experience in refereeing Basketball leagues
· Confidence in decision making in high pressure situations
· Enthusiastic attitude
Applicants should live in the Chicago area and have adequate transport to attend evening shifts at various venues around the city.
Job Type: Part-time
