CLIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE, LOCAL SALESChicago, ILHybridTHE RUNDOWN Playfly Sports is looking for a Client Service Representative to join our team in Chicago. The Client Service Representative (CSR) will be responsible for supporting revenue growth for all linear offerings within a set of accounts by assisting with the sales process to agencies. This role will have a solid understanding of Playfly's local offerings and address station partner and client needs through consistent communication.WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH Assemble and provide effective sales (campaigns) packages for all prospective and current clients - includes understanding clients' needs / specifications and individual styles to create customized packagesCollaborate with and support the Account Executives on all account needs, style variations, and timelines for client proposalsRemain current on all relevant sports issues and events to assemble efficient sales packages with maximum valueProvide background and research on client targets and categories for Account ExecutivesEstablish a working relationship and collaboration with all Sales Managers across the regions to better support and understand sales cycleParticipate in sales presentations and negotiations, lead generation, cold calls, and business socialsEnter and maintain ad orders and postings and resolve discrepancies in Customer Relationship Management system as neededSupport the Account Executives in the comprehensive sales process through prospecting, developing a sales plan, and preparing client calls and meetingsProvide training, leading, and coaching to the Local Client Service CoordinatorsAssist with sales forecasting reports by pulling, formatting and analyzing data in ExcelOther job-related duties as assignedWHAT YOU'LL BRING High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred1-3 years of experience in a sales support or similar roleSome experience working in the sports, ad agencies or media industries requiredSome working experience in CRM systems requiredInterest and general understanding of the sports industryExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong skills in Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook requiredExcellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships is requiredOutstanding organizational skills and a proven ability to work both as a member of a team and individuallyThe ability to multitask and work effectively on multiple projects with competing deadlinesTRAVEL, LIFTING, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This role takes place in an office setting and is a sedentary roleMinimal travel may be required to attend meetings, conduct trainings, etc.WHAT WE DO Playfly Sports is the full-service, leading sports marketing and media company that enables brands to engage with sports fans on a local, regional, and national level through scaled linear, digital, and experiential assets.
