Job Title: Developmental Preschool Instructional Aide
Location: North Lawrence Learning Center
Position Summary:
As an Instructional Aide in our Preschool classrooms, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a child's natural curiosity through carefully designed and meaningful experiences. You will support our team in creating a rich, stimulating environment where every child thrives emotionally, socially, and academically.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Building Instructional Capacity:

Assist teachers in delivering curriculum tailored to meet the individual needs of each child.

Foster positive relationships with families, colleagues, state licensing authorities, community partners, and corporate stakeholders.

Collaborate effectively with fellow educators and instructional support staff to ensure seamless learning experiences.

Uphold and support school and district policies, maintaining a focus on student welfare and achievement.

Maintain the highest level of ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and privacy of student information at all times.
2. Supervision & Classroom Management:

Create a safe, nurturing environment that encourages learning through exploration and play.

Maintain a clean, well-organized classroom that supports both fun and educational activities.

Ensure compliance with licensing requirements, prioritizing the care and safety of each child.
Qualifications:

A deep passion for working with children and a strong desire to positively impact their lives every day.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Capability to engage physically with children at various levels (e.g., kneeling, sitting on the floor) and actively participate in activities.

Strong communication and listening skills to ensure the safety and well-being of children.

Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills to manage a variety of tasks efficiently.

Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential and/or willingness to meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.

CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).

A minimum of one year of experience in Early Childhood Education is preferred but not required.
