A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DOGGIE ENRICHMENT DAYCARE - ANIMAL CARE ATTENDANT
As a Dog Enrichment Daycare - Animal Care Attendant, you supervise the pets that stay in our facility, ensuring safe and fun play for every dog. In the play yards, you interact with the dogs, conducting daily training and leadership exercises. You also have the ability to incorporate food, toys, and other equipment where appropriate. You maintain a patient, calm attitude with the dogs and take appropriate action as necessary. After a long day of playing, sometimes dogs need a bath! You bathe the dogs, getting them nice and clean while helping them feel comfortable and calm.
In addition to working directly with the animals, you clean and sanitize our facility and play yards, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for dogs and humans alike. Your satisfaction comes from working with a fun team, the ability to think creatively and getting paid to spend time hanging out with dogs!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A DOG ENRICHMENT DAYCARE - ANIMAL CARE ATTENDANT
- Comfortable working with dogs of all breeds and sizes
- Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to be on your feet and constantly moving for 8 hours
- Positive Attitude
- Problem Solver/Creative Thinker
- Basic Dog Handling Skills
- Must be reliable

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A DOGGIE ENRICHMENT DAYCARE - ANIMAL CARE ATTENDANT
This position can be either full-time or part-time, depending on the needs of the candidate. Full-time employees work 35 to 40 hours per week, while part-time employees work 24 to 32 hours per week on average. Shifts are usually 8 hours long between the hours of 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
