Job Title: Toddler Sports Coach [Ages 2-6]
Compensation: ($15/HR Guaranteed for all coaches PLUS up to $5/hour in commission/bonus opportunities based on performance as well!)
- Specific Hours Needed: Start date 2025 Feb 22nd to Nov 16th for year round seasons, Saturdays 8:40am to 12:15pm and Tuesdays 4:45pm to 7:15pm.(season dependent)
Paid Training will be provided and scheduled with the site manager.
Note: You are not required to work all of these days/time slots but those who can attend multiple days will be given priority vs others who can only attend one day per week. If you have to miss one week due to schedule conflicts, we can make something work, but people who can attend the full 6-weeks of each of the 6 seasons per year will be given priority.
Note: Additional hours may be available randomly throughout the week. We hold programs all year-round and would like someone interested in a long-term relationship with us. Successful and effective site coaches will have the opportunity to continue their role each consecutive season.

Playpen Sports Academy is a young and fast-growing organization founded in Chicago, IL. Focused on improving the quality of early childhood development programs based on sport, we offer soccer, baseball, golf, and basketball and more classes for toddlers ages 2-6 years old.
Job Description:
As a toddler sports coach, your primary job is to facilitate a fun, energetic and structured 45 minute class. We coach children ages 2 to 6 years old and teach them how to use their bodies and work with others.
The goal of our various sports classes is to provide social, emotional, and motor development opportunities through the use of fun, non-competitive games and activities centered around the respective sport.

Responsibilities
- Field set-up and class preparation.
- Follow weekly curriculum
- Lead various 45-minute sessions with energy, positivity, and inclusiveness.
- Be a great communicator with families, fellow coaches and site manager
- Make sure toddlers and parents understand the different games and activities.
- Help parents work with their children in a manner that makes the toddler feel comfortable with the game or activity at hand.
- Provide positive feedback, coaching tips, and words of encouragement to not only the toddlers but parents as well.
- Attend community events & assist in administrative tasks when necessary (additional pay)
Qualifications
- MUST BE AN ENERGETIC AND ENTHUSIASTIC INDIVIDUAL!!
- At least 16 years of age or older
- Some sort of athletic background - preferably high school or collegiate athletics.
- Availability Saturday mornings and two weeknights (depending on location).
- Work patiently with children as young as 24-months to 6 Years (Parents help for under 4)
- Reliable transportation.
- Experience with kids is not required but is a plus.
- Self starter who enjoys the Spot Light and having fun. As a coach all eyes are on you.
No coaching experience is required - Training is provided!
