JOB SUMMARY:
The International Sales Service Manager will provide support and customer service for various international sales business units and representatives. The position will assist with pre-sales, design and bid processes, project management support, and other requirements related to international sales processes.
Essential Functions
Maintain outstanding customer support and service levels to international customers and dealers.- Provide solid leadership and the ability to foster relationships with current and potential international customers and provide directions to inside sales staff.
- Responsible for meeting support expectations, tracking sales quotas and communicating those initiatives to the International Rep Agencies.
- Coordinate with the scheduling and shipping department on shipping details, including container shipments as needed to meet delivery deadlines.
- Calculate shipping requirements, including dimensions of containers and cost of shipping ensuring factored into the pricing model.
- Responsible for International Sales Project Management, including follow up on projects that have been quoted/bid.
- Generate reports as needed to track International Sales progress, International Sales trends & International Sales forecasting, and Sales Rep Reports.
- Assigning International Sales leads to appropriate rep agencies or contacting customers directly if no rep agency is available.
- Follow up on sales leads and provide sales assistance as needed.
- Provide design/quote assistance to International Rep agencies and/or customers as required for each project.
o Designing in AutoCAD and/or PlayCreator as needed
o Utilizing Order Entry to provide customer/rep quotes as needed.
o Providing specifications, installation files or any other pre-bid/pre-purchase requirements
o Liaison with proposals for drawings necessary to complete rep job bids.
- Estimation, pricing, and warranty control on parts is required.
- Assist in-house Customer Service with coordination of any after-sales issues that may arise as needed.
- Process orders through Reps Order Entry, either through PlayCreator or Customer Purchase Orders with invoice generation.
- Send order acknowledgements and monitor customer payment for credit release.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of sales and product training materials. Schedule and perform rep training as needed. Prepare and provide training materials and marketing material as needed to support International Rep agencies.
o Including but not limited to: Catalog mailings, sales brochures, product demonstration software
o Hosting webinar’s as needed for new product training/introduction.
- Gather company and personal information for all prospective new International Sales Rep agencies for all PlayPower Outdoor Products.
- Schedule plant tours, meetings and customer visits for existing or potential International Sales rep agencies.
- Other duties may be assigned as required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn ERP system, document software system, and similar computer applications.
- Bilingual language skills a plus but not mandatory.
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree in related field preferred.
- Prior related office experience preferred.
- Three years combined education and customer service experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Licenses or Certificates
A valid driver’s license is required.
Appearance/Uniforms
All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.
Other
PlayPower hours of operation will be determined as they apply to each shift requirement applicable to each department. Shift hours will be subject to change by the department manager and/or corporate management. Overtime may be required with or without notice (all overtime must be approved by his/her supervisor). Travel may be required.
