POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for skilled Fabricators to set up, maintain and operate machinery. You’ll ensure the interminable and efficient running of production. A great Fabricator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
- Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
- Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines
- Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
- Test operation of machines periodically
- Fix issues that might occur during the shift
- Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
- Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
- Maintain activity logs

QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
- Prefer at least one to three years manufacturing experience.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proven experience as a Fabricator
- Understanding of production procedures
- Adherence to health and safety regulations
- Ability to read blueprints
- Attention to detail
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or verbal form.
- Ability to read and interpret basic documents, safety rules and other correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using basic math skills.
- Ability to count and measure.
ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT:
Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such a level as is determined in the company’s employee handbook. Must be available and willing to work overtime hours as the employer determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs. Must be available and willing to work such weekends and/or holidays as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
May be exposed to noise if working in or around a production area. Continuously required to stand, walk, use hands, talk, and hear. Physical demands include frequent lifting and/or carrying 10 – 100 lbs. and pushing or pulling up to 120 lbs.
POSITION LOCATION:
Position is located at our manufacturing plant located in Monett, MO. Position is based on shift needs and production schedule and not remote eligible.
COMPENSATION:
Compensation for this position will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications, aligning with industry standards. The salary range for Monett, MO is also based upon geographical market standards for the industry and position in those areas.
There is a possibility of a bonus(es) based on individual performance and merit to be paid at the sole discretion of the company, but bonus(es) are not guaranteed unless outlined in writing in the offer letter extended to the candidate selected for the position.
