Outsourcing Coordinator

SUMMARY: Coordinate, receive, verify and transact incoming shipments and returns from vendor; ensure items in the warehouse are properly identified and in the proper location.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Completing transactional steps to receive purchase orders, vendor returns and vendor credits.

2. Completing transactional steps for transfer of product to suppliers and for receiving in direct shipments.

3. Completing material movement logs for identification and traceability.

4. Verify receipt of delivery.

5. Scanning packing slips to accounts payable.

6. Using forklift to unload product and move to incoming materials area.

7. Stocking and inventory control.

8. Cycle counting product for inventory control.

9. Proficient with material transaction reports.

10. Ability to work independently.

11. Ability to influence and problem solve cross functionally with all levels of leadership and production.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.

Prefer one to three years related experience in receiving/parts department.

Must have ERP experience.

Must understand adherence to schedule and ERP transaction processes.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or verbal form

Ability to read and interpret basic documents, safety rules and other correspondence

Ability to count and measure equipment

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using basic math skills.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to work cross functionally and with key production team members to accomplish set goals for Wabash Valley line.

Demonstrated ability to perform duties with direction.

Must become forklift certified.

Demonstrates ability to use the hand held scanners accurately.

Demonstrates independent decision making skills and hight attention to details.

Proficiently use Tracker to view orders and coordinate with Wabash Valley supervision on approach.

Demonstrates inventory accuracy and proper transactional activities in ERP.

Demonstrates the ability to safely load/unload trucks in the yard.

Demonstrates ability to print all paperwork necessary for the department.

Demonstrates ability to receive goods into our system accurately and timely.

Demonstrates the delivery of parts to vendor and customer is timely and accurate.

ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT:

Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level is determined in the company’s employee handbook. Must be available and willing to work overtime hours as the employer determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs. Must be available and willing to work such weekends and/or holidays as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
