POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Paint Line Operator plays a key role in our production process by preparing and painting metal parts while ensuring quality standards and efficient workflow. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Prepare parts by painting, hanging, wrapping, and removing them from the paint line.
2. Inspect parts before, during, and after the painting process to meet quality standards.
3. Read and interpret blueprints, labels, and work instructions to ensure accurate processing.
4. Utilize basic manufacturing tools and computer systems (Syteline and Tracker) effectively.
5. Package finished parts according to specifications.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 6S principles.
7. Contribute to the reduction of scrap and errors by verifying part numbers, colors, and labels.
8. Accurately complete production paperwork and follow daily reporting procedures.
9. Communicate effectively with co-workers, team leads and supervisors.
10. Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
11. Perform other duties as assigned to meet department goals.

QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
- Prefer one to three years related experience in a manufacturing environment.
REASONING ABILITY:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, labels, and work instructions.
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or verbal form.
- Ability to read and interpret basic documents, safety rules and other correspondence.
- Ability to count and measure equipment and distinguish between colors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to read standard and metric tape measure.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Demonstrated ability to perform duties with direction.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrates ability to complete all paperwork necessary for the position.
- Ensure facility maintenance through housekeeping, keeping product and facility secure, and maintaining the assets of the facility.
ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT:
Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level is determined in the company’s employee handbook. Must be available and willing to work overtime hours as the employer determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs. WORKING CONDITIONS:
May be exposed to noise if working in or around a production area. Schedule is based on shift and production need. Consistently required to stand, walk, use hands, talk, and hear. Physical demands include frequent lifting and/or carrying 10 – 100 lbs. and pushing or pulling 25 – 50 lbs.
POSITION LOCATION:
Position is onsite and not remote eligible.
COMPENSATION:
Compensation for this position will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications, aligning with industry standards. The salary range for Monett, MO is also based upon geographical market standards for the industry and position in those areas.
There is a possibility of a bonus(es) based on individual performance and merit to be paid at the sole discretion of the company, but bonus(es) are not guaranteed unless outlined in writing in the offer letter extended to the candidate selected for the position.
