Position Overview
The primary function of this position is to process parts in the parts room department. Working as a member of a team, you will assist in the attainment of all parts room production requirements by learning and following all process steps and requirements necessary to produce orders. The employee should expect to be adequately cross trained in various functions within the department.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Demonstrates ability to self-verify load completeness and intense attention to detail.
- Demonstrates an understanding of internal supplier and ability to chase shortages from shortage sheet.
- Work with outside vendors and other departments on shortages and attainment of product to meet customer needs.
- Cross train to complete UPS shipments, as needed.
- Understand, print, and complete paperwork, including Tracker Database, accurately and efficiently.
- Pack orders by hand counting and/or weigh counting (hardware and manufactured parts).
- Demonstrate good housekeeping, recycling and proper storage of equipment.
- Ability to run chain cutting OBI presses and assemble ropes, as needed.
- Demonstrates consistent successful performance by meeting demand of customer and remaining productive during work hours.
- Work to meet established expectations and pursues objectives with energy and persistence.
- Must be open to change and new information; rapidly adapts to new information, changing conditions or unexpected obstacles.
- Adhere and comply with all company safety requirements.
- Work effectively on a team by demonstrating effective communication and abiding by code of conduct when interacting with co-workers, managers, and vendors.

Qualifications, Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
- Prefer one to three years related experience in receiving/parts department.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or verbal form.
- Ability to read and interpret basic documents, safety rules and other correspondence.
- Ability to count and measure equipment.
Other Skills and Abilities:
- One to three years manufacturing experience with demonstrated work experience related to attention to detail.
Attendance Requirement:
Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such a level as is determined in the company’s employee handbook. Must be available and willing to work overtime hours as the employer determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs. Must be available and willing to work such weekends and/or holidays as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
Working Conditions:
May be exposed to noise if working in or around a production area. Schedule is based on shift and production need. Consistently required to stand, walk, use hands, talk, and hear. Physical demands include frequent lifting and/or carrying 10 – 50 lbs. and pushing or pulling 25 – 50 lbs.
Position Location:
Position is located at our Pierce City Warehouse location site in Pierce City, MO. This position is not remote eligible.
Compensation:
Compensation for this position will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications, aligning with industry standards. The salary range for Monett, MO is also based upon geographical market standards for the industry and position in those areas.
