5:30PM - 11:45PM
Long Day:
1:15PM - 11:45 PM
Responsibilities include:
1. PULLING PARTS
by
determining parts to be gathered by reading relevant product reports.
2. GATHER PARTS
by
pulling parts per materials list and checking quantities and warehouse locations. Parts will not be checked off the requirement list until a small green label has been verified with the requirement list and quantity.
3. VERIFIES PARTS
by
looking at small green bar codes on parts or by using E-Docs.
4. STAGE PARTS
by
placing them in neat, straight rows and label carts with proper color and dates of list.
5. REPORTS MISSING PARTS
by
recording them on a missing parts report using S.O. number, color, part number, quantity and informing supervisor.
6. PREPARES PARTS
by
hanging parts to be coated.
7. HANG PARTS
by
using clean hooks and racks this will provide a good ground, which will improve transfer efficiency. Verifying that the small green bar code label corresponds with the requirement report and quantity. Hanging parts on the line in such a manner that prevents them from falling off the line or filling internally with water while utilizing all available space and filling racks completely.
8. INSPECTS PARTS
by
visually looking for part defects, sand or Scotch Brite any rough areas as needed; or any part that has been previously powder coated.
9. PLUG PARTS
by
placing appropriate size plugs in any hole that is threaded or any hole that could let water in.
10. SPRAY PARTS
by
applying powder to products with the correct amount of milage and looking at color tag in front of parts and bringing the correct color hopper to the spray booth from the powder storage room, using the oldest powder first in the powder storage area..
11. VERIFIES READINGS
by
looking at gauges on the motor control center to make sure temperatures are correct before starting the line.
12. CHECKS PARTS
by
Scanning small green bar code labels so that parts get labeled correctly.
13. LABELS PARTS
by
Scanning small green bar codes through clear plastic bags; applying footing labels, if required; and placing a 2” x 4” bar code on the outside of bag. Replace small green bar code if it came off during the process.
14. CONDUCTS FINAL CHECK
by
Visually inspecting package to make sure it is acceptable.
15. PACKS HARDWARE AND SMALL COMPONENTS
by
Gathering and verifying shipments.
16. PREPARES SHIPMENTS
by
Reading relevant product reports, gathering, packing, protecting, and labeling.
17. PACKS ITEMS
by
Verifying identifying information, quantity, and condition of items; staging and protecting items.
18. MAINTAINS SHIPPING MATERIALS
by
Checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed materials.
19. PREPARES POWDER COATED ITEMS FOR SHIPMENT
by
inspecting the finish of the parts; removing the small green film that covers the bar code label on parts; and cleaning threaded holes and reworking parts if needed. Then placing parts in bags, boxes or bubble wrap & placing them on table to go to Ship 1. Then delivering any ship1 cartons or any truck items to the mezzanine area of the shipping department.
20. SUPPLIES CARTS
by
Bringing empty carts to the packing area.
21. CONTRIBUTES TO TEAM EFFORT
by
accomplishing related results as needed. perform any additional duties as requested.
22. PERFORM ANY ADDITIONAL DUTIES AS REQUESTED.
Qualified applicants will have:
- Must be a high school graduate or have equivalent training.
- Must be able to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Must have knowledge of safety regulations.
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 51 lbs. on average during a
- normal workday.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Must be able to read and write.
- Must be able to operate computers.
- Must be able to distinguish colors.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to read and interpret basic documents, safety rules and other correspondence.
Work Environment Include:
- Steel toed shoes are required at all times.
- Must wear required PPE while on the production floor.
- Must adjust PPE to be meet requirements, as some specific areas may require additional specific items to be worn for PPE, such as bump caps, hard hats, shin guards, gloves, etc.
- Normal manufacturing environment exposed to noise and heat if working in production area.
- Overtime as required.
