As the Global Learning and Development Manager, you will design and implement strategies to enhance employee skills, leadership development, and organizational learning across multiple countries. You will oversee training programs, career development initiatives, and continuous learning solutions that drive engagement, performance, and business growth. Your role will involve partnering with senior leadership to align learning programs with company objectives while leveraging the latest technologies and best practices in corporate education. Additionally, you will lead and manage a team of three regional Training Specialists—one in Asia, one in EMEA, and one in the Americas—to ensure consistent training execution across all regions.

The Global Learning and Development Manager will report to the Chief People and Culture Officer.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute global learning and development strategies that align with business goals and employee career growth.
  • Manage, mentor, and provide strategic direction to a team of three regional Training Specialists to ensure alignment and consistency in training delivery across Asia, EMEA, and the Americas.
  • Partner with senior leaders and department heads to identify skill gaps, design training programs, and drive leadership development.
  • Implement and oversee learning technologies, platforms, and digital training solutions to enhance global employee engagement and accessibility.
  • Create and manage leadership development programs to nurture high-potential employees and build strong internal talent pipelines.
  • Develop competency frameworks and career pathing strategies that support workforce planning and employee retention.
  • Lead global training initiatives, workshops, and coaching programs to enhance technical, soft skills, and leadership capabilities.
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of training programs, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize learning solutions and employee performance.
  • Ensure compliance with global learning and development standards, including industry certifications, diversity training, and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning through mentorship programs, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and skill development projects.
  • Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, regional leaders, and key business stakeholders to address specific learning needs and drive professional growth across the organization.

Requirements

  • 8 years of experience in global learning and development, corporate training, or talent management.
  • 5 years of leadership experience, including managing geographically dispersed teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Expertise in learning technologies, instructional design, and e-learning platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of leadership development, coaching methodologies, and adult learning principles.
  • Ability to analyze learning data and provide strategic insights to improve training effectiveness.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills to drive organizational change.
  • Experience working in a global, cross-functional environment, adapting learning strategies for diverse cultures and remote teams.

Preferred

  • Certification in Learning & Development (CPTD, ATD, or similar).
  • Experience with LMS platforms, digital learning solutions, and AI-driven learning tools.
  • Background in fast-growing industries such as tech, gaming, or entertainment.
