As the Technical Director, you will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of a scalable games platform. This platform will serve as the backbone for multiple games, enabling seamless integration, data management, and cross-game interactions. You will work with technologies including Microsoft Azure, C#, React, SQL Server, and Couchbase, and will be responsible for making key architectural decisions to ensure performance, security, and scalability.
In this role, you will build and lead a high-performing engineering team while managing cross-functional stakeholders across different time zones. Strong organizational and leadership skills are crucial to successfully aligning development efforts with business objectives and ensuring smooth platform integration across our game portfolio.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead the technical vision, strategy, and execution for the development of a scalable games platform that integrates with multiple social casino games.
- Architect, design, and implement robust backend and frontend solutions using Microsoft Azure, C#, React, SQL Server, and Couchbase.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
- Manage development workflows and ensure timely delivery of platform features.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across game studios, product management, design, and marketing to align technical capabilities with business goals.
- Ensure platform reliability, security, and scalability, implementing best practices for cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure.
- Optimize database management and performance, leveraging SQL Server and Couchbase for efficient data handling.
- Coordinate across global teams and manage development efforts across different time zones.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure continuous improvement and innovation within the platform.
- 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in game development or platform engineering.
- 5 years of leadership experience managing engineering teams in a fast-paced, distributed environment.
- Expertise or equivalent in Microsoft Azure, C#, React, SQL Server, and Couchbase with hands-on development experience.
- Proven ability to design and build scalable platforms that integrate with multiple applications or games.
- Strong project management skills, with experience handling multiple stakeholders across different time zones.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in the gaming industry, particularly social casino or mobile gaming, is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies to streamline development and deployment processes.
