Implements motor therapy services in a preschool setting; including structured assessments, screenings, treatment, and documentation of contact with children and families. Offers training to staff and/or families on physical development and appropriate interventions. Provides gross and fine motor/sensory interventions as they apply to children.
Pay Scale
$43.79/hr.

Requirements
Required:
- Baccalaureate degree in physical therapy
- Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT)
- Must possess or obtain (within 6 months of hire date) a Colorado Department of Education Special Services Licensure
- Must become knowledgeable of the program’s policies, rules, and regulations with respect to functions performed
- Demonstrated ability to provide case management
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of privileged and personal information of clients
- Successful completion of a pre-employment physical examination, TB test, drug test (including marijuana), and background check in accordance with the Office of Head Start Performance Standards and Childcare Licensing. (Physical examination and TB test thereafter as required).
- Must have access to reliable transportation and if using a personal vehicle must maintain minimum liability insurance as determined by the State of Colorado.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of early childhood education.
- Ability to work with low-income families, community groups, and staff.
Salary : $2,500 - $4,000
