Responsibilities
- Utilize automotive diagnostics to accurately assess vehicle issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Interact with customers to understand their concerns and provide exceptional service and repair recommendations.
- Write detailed service orders, including cost estimates and repair timelines, ensuring clear communication with technicians.
- Utilize sales skills to upsell additional services or products when appropriate.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
Qualifications
- Strong background in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance
- Proven experience in service technician roles with a focus on customer service and sales
- Proficiency in auto estimating and service writing
- Familiarity with automotive repair and service processes
- Preferred experience in dealership settings and auto service management
- Ability to upsell and promote additional services
- Knowledge of transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, and other relevant automotive services
