GENERAL PURPOSE
Under the direction of the Recreation Director, and the Special Event Coordinator, the recreation department's Special Event Staff plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of various Pleasant Grove Recreation / City events by providing top-tier customer service, logistical support, and event coordination. Whether assisting with event setup, guest services, or troubleshooting on-site challenges, our Special Event Staff members play a vital role in delivering exceptional experiences.
FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
- Assist in the setup, operation, and breakdown of event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, décor, and equipment.
- Greet and direct guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive event experience.
- Monitor event activities to ensure safety protocols and policies are followed.
- Coordinate with vendors and other event partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Support the Event Coordinator in handling logistics, including ticketing, registrations, crowd management, etc.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to any guest inquiries, issues, or emergencies that arise during the event.
- Perform general clean-up and post-event wrap-up tasks to restore the event location to its original state.
