- Adhere to the guidelines set by the Texas Education Agency as interpreted by the local school board and administered by the Superintendent. ">
- Demonstrate current knowledge, understanding, and skill in their position. ">
- Supervise high school and elementary nurse aides according to the school's health care needs. ">
- Maintain accurate health records for the district. ">
- Secure necessary health care materials, equipment, and resource personnel for the district. ">
- Administer and/or supervise necessary screenings for the district. ">
- Administer medication according to school board policy. ">
- Act as a resource person for health and science teachers. ">
- Interact effectively and professionally with students, co-workers, and parents. ">
- Respect the confidence of instructional personnel and administration. ">
- Cooperatively participate in staff development and other professional duties. ">
- Perform other assigned duties cooperatively. ">
Requirements:
