- Present and maintain a high level of professionalism as an educational leader and head coach while demonstrating an exemplary level of integrity within the program.
- Have middle school or high school golf coaching experience
- Be proficient in methods of instruction involving golf skills
- Be an educator within the Pleasant Hill School District - preferred
- Meet MSHSAA Assistant Coaching Requirements according to the guidelines presented in the MSHSAA handbook (sec 3.1)
- Be certified as a substitute teacher and must have completed 60 credit hours from an accredited institution.
- The successful candidate will fulfill the duties as follows...
- Implement objectives of the golf program
- Communicate with Head Coach any issues or problems with the program
- Run practice in accordance to the schedule and as directed by Head Coach
- When taking team to a tournament or match, ensure that the score cards are checked and confirmed scores and obtain overall results
- Assist athletes in their development and maintain a safe environment
