The Pleasant Hill School District is currently seeking applicants for the position of
Childcare Assistant Part-Time
Deadline for Applications: Until filled
Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age and a high school graduate. The qualified candidate must be a
person with patience, flexibility, good communication and public relation skills, and basic
computer knowledge. Previous childcare experience preferred. Certification in CPR and
First Aid Preferred, But Not Required.
Term of Position: Twelve (12) month; Part-Time 15-20 hours per week
Salary: Starting rate of $14.50 per hour; rate based on experience.

- Keep children continually motivated, active, and involved.
- Enjoy working with children grades Kindergarten through 6th grade.
- Be able to sustain long periods of sitting / standing.
- Be able to accompany children on field trips.
- Be able to engage in physically active games with the children.
- Work before and after school hours and all-day during summer months and days when school is not in session.
- Attend any required on-going training.
