Pleasant Meadows Senior Living is seeking a dynamic and compassionate individual for a unique, dual-role position that combines receptionist and activity aide responsibilities. As a Receptionist four days a week, you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors, families, and staff, offering excellent customer service while managing front desk operations. On alternating weekends PRN, you will transition to the role of Activity Aide, working with our Activity Director to plan and facilitate engaging programs and activities for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
Receptionist Duties (4 Days a Week)
- Greet visitors, residents, and families with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Answer phones, direct calls to appropriate staff, and provide company information.
- Manage and maintain calendars for conference rooms, ensuring smooth scheduling.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.).
- Assist with ordering, receiving, and distributing office supplies.
- Perform administrative tasks such as photocopying, faxing, filing, and organizing.
Activity Aide Duties (PRN Every Other Weekend)
- Assist in planning, organizing, and leading daily, weekly, and monthly activities that promote residents' physical, mental, and social well-being.
- Collaborate with the Activity Director to create engaging programs tailored to the interests and needs of residents.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, especially those with memory care or dementia.
- Manage event logistics, ensuring smooth execution of planned activities.
- Foster meaningful relationships with residents, families, and staff to maintain an enriching environment.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as necessary.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative role is preferred.
- Experience in long-term care or a related field, especially with Alzheimer’s or dementia care, is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer skills.
- Ability to manage time, multitask, and maintain a positive, welcoming environment.
- A passion for helping others and creating a supportive, fun atmosphere for residents.
