What are the responsibilities and job description for the Referral Coordinator/Triage Team Pediatrics position at PLEASANT PEDIATRICS?
Pleasant Pediatrics is looking to hire referral coordinators at our admin location in Glendale AZ . We are also looking to hire medical assistants, office managers, and billers. We prefer experience, especially within pediatrics, but it is not required. Our locations are in Phoenix, Glendale, and Peoria. We are a fast-growing company with lots of opportunities for promotion.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient referrals and manage triage for pediatric cases.
- Verify insurance information and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain accurate medical records and coding using ICD-9, ICD-10, and CPT standards.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and patients to facilitate care.
- Assist in managing managed care processes and ensure proper documentation.
- Utilize medical terminology to support clinical staff in delivering quality pediatric care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
