Responsibilities :
- Perform dressing changes and wound care.
- Responsible for monitoring / follow-up of all ulcers and incisions with appropriate documentation and communication to physician and family.
- Assess Weekly nutrition / hydration of residents with all ulcers and incisions, evaluate and initiate additional nutritional intake as required.
- Monitor lab reports for incidence of infection in assigned wounds.
Evaluate causative factors / problems, and solutions and communicate same to nursing staff management.
