Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN) :
Provide oversight to the LNAs and LPNs as needed.Consult and coordinate with interdisciplinary care team, which includes medical providers and other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized patient and resident plans of care.Facilitate the completion of baseline and periodic assessments of individualized care needs to ensure the most appropriate care needs are met for each patient and resident.Participate in resident care, to include accurately and safely administering medications that are ordered by our medical providers, and monitoring to ensure efficacy of medications provided.Initiate requests for consultations or referrals as requested by residents, family members, guardians, or other care team members to ensure the highest practicable care and quality of life.Provide nursing services to short-term patients and long-term residents within scope of practice, organizational policies, and professional standards of care.Facilitate physician and specialty provider rounds and participate in treatment planning and shift reports to ensure continuity of care.Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN) :
Current license from stateCurrent / active CPR certification, preferred.Effective verbal and written English communication skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity.Able to stand and / or walk for more than four (4) hours per day.Able to bend and / or stoop for more than one (1) hour at a time.
