Position Overview:
At Pleasant View Center in Concord, NH 03301, we are looking for a compassionate Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA) to join our outstanding team. In this role, you'll work closely with our licensed nurses to provide critical medication services, ensuring our residents receive prompt, safe, and personalized care. - High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required
- Current medication aide certification
- Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience or 2 years as a medication aide
- Strong understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology
- Administer daily oral, inhalation, and topical medications to residents under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, ensuring safe and accurate delivery of care.
- Vigilantly observe for any adverse drug reactions and promptly report concerns to the nurse.
- Accurately document medication administration following company policies and procedures.
- Adhere to both written and verbal medication management guidelines.
- Monitor residents for any changes in condition, maintaining detailed records and communicating updates to the care team.
- Perform tasks such as taking vital signs, calculating medication doses, stocking medication carts, and disposing of discontinued medications responsibly.
- Follow strict protocols for the safe handling and storage of medications.
- Treat all residents with respect and empathy, ensuring their dignity and rights are upheld at all times.
- Foster a culture of compliance by following facility policies and state/federal regulations.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to proper safety and hygiene practices.
- Keep all resident information confidential and secure.
- Report any issues, including policy breaches or concerns regarding resident care, to the appropriate personnel.
Shift Details:
We offer both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts.
