The Wound Care nurse provides wound treatments, make regular rounds to residents receiving wound treatment, coordinates with supervising physicians regarding results from ordered treatment, and participate in care plan meetings for residents with wound treatment. If necessary, before the resident is discharged, educate resident and families on care practices and methods to promote wellness and healing.
