Pleasant Hills is a Home Plus Care facility located in Hutchinson, KS. Home Plus Care is a standard of senior living dedicated to creating luxurious and comfortable living facilities in a very family-centered setting. Under the supervision of a Charge Nurse, the CMAs at Pleasant Hills not only administrate medications, but use all their CNA knowledge, skills and training to provide assistance to residents based on evidence-based best practice per each residents comprehensive care plan that is not considered direct, hands-on medical care. They will assist with admitting, transferring and discharging residents. As CMAs, they administer and document regularly prescribed medications after personally preparing those medications. They observe and report side effects of medication to the Charge Nurse. Since Pleasant Hills is a small, family-centered environment, the CNA/CMAs are highly involved in the activities and social program planned for the residents.
Qualifications
- Be a certified nurse aide and certified medication aide in good standing with the State of Kansas.
- Be able to clearly communicate in English (speak, read, write).
- Have reliable transportation, and
- Be able to pass a drug screen and criminal record check.
