Qualifications:
1. CNA certificate preferred, or knowledge of lifts and transfers.
2. Must be able to lift with or without reasonable accommodations - 40 lbs. and transfer residents of various heights and weights independently.
3. Candidate must be willing to be flexible in regard to scheduling and meal breaks. The amount of hours worked may vary from week to week.
4. The candidate may be required to be on-call 24/7, and this may include holidays. Availability is a strong attribute of the candidate. A strong work ethic is a must.
5. Candidate must exhibit strong social and communication skills, and be able to make prompt and accurate decisions.
6. The candidate must have a good driving record, be willing to drive in large or small cities, day or night, and in various weather conditions.
7. Must be willing to accept other responsibilities as assigned.
Transportation Aide
Purpose: Transport residents on weekends (rotation schedule)
Position will be paid at a base rate (plus up more for experience), plus extra money for weekends you are scheduled to be on stand-by. There is on call pay on Saturday and Sunday and will be paid even if you are not called to work.
