What are the responsibilities and job description for the AL Support RN position at Pleasantview?
AL RN/LPNs are responsible for providing oversight for personal care and assistance in the facility. AL RN/LPNs may be called upon to help residents with personal hygiene, including assistance with dressing, grooming, going to the bathroom, feeding and the giving of baths/showers. AL RN/LPNs may be called upon to provide basic treatment as required at the direction of the AL Director. This includes but is not limited to such things as taking vital signs. AL RN/LPNs are responsible for observing and reporting changes in residents physical and emotional conditions to the nursing staff. Excellent communication and team skills are needed.
High school graduate or G.E.D. preferred. AL RN/LPN must be able to read, write and follow written and oral instructions in English. Must have and maintain a valid nursing license in the state of Iowa. Orientation on sanitation and safe food handling prior to handling food and annual food protection training. Required CPR certification. Have and maintain a valid drivers license. Failure to maintain current requirements without restrictions will result in termination. May not be a debarred provider.
