What are the responsibilities and job description for the Member of Technical Staff position at Please?
Please has made a ton of progress over the last few months and we’re looking for a few more enthusiastic engineers to join the founding team. If a chart had single ↔ multi player as one axis and utility ↔ fun as the other we are living in the “multi player fun” quadrant. We have a really ambitious vision for what we are bringing to market and I’m excited to share more with anyone interested.
Please has more interesting problems than people to work on them. We are looking to hire zero to one builders who want to solve problems with a lot of individual ownership but with the humility to optimize for team output. Ideal candidates would describe themselves as “conscientious” and have a high degree of user empathy. We’re looking for people that have experience building for consumer scale.
We’re focused on hiring individuals that complement our team rather than a specific archetype but common buzzwords may include : full stack, infrastructure, iOS, and dev-ops. My DM’s are open!
