Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled AI Researcher to join our team at Pledge Biosciences. As part of our newly formed AI arm, Pledge-AI, you will play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge generative AI applications for drug discovery.
About the Role:
- You will optimize and improve proprietary generative chemistry models for hit generation.
- You will build and deploy machine learning models for lead optimization.
- You will integrate AI models with state-of-the-art computational chemistry pipelines to harness physics-based calculations and experimental insights to augment the discovery cascade.
- You will leverage open-sourced and proprietary data sets for small molecule design and optimization.
- You will collaborate with other machine learning specialists, protein engineers, structural biologists, computational chemists, biophysicists, and biologists to incorporate the nuances of drug discovery into in-silico methods.
Requirements:
- PhD in Computer Science, Computational Chemistry, Computational Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record in developing computational and/or machine-learning methods to solve problems related to structure-based drug discovery.
- Expertise in computational chemistry, computational biology, bioinformatics, and high-performance computing.
- Proficiency in Python, experience in machine learning frameworks and libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, sci-kit-learn, etc.
- Experience in chemoinformatics and molecular docking software platforms, molecular dynamics packages and enhanced sampling techniques.
- High-fidelity problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
