About the role
Plenful is seeking a dynamic and innovative BDR Manager to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for managing and scaling our BDR team. You will create a strong and inclusive sales culture by leading outbound sales teams to achieve success through developing and motivating business development representatives. Serve as both a business manager and talent developer to meet established goals. You must also be willing to roll your sleeves up, and "lead by doing" when the need arises. This may include strategic / venture industry outreach and stepping in directly when BDR seats are open.
- Develop and implement effective growth strategies for the BDR team, ensuring alignment with the needs of the sales organization and outbound demand generation targets.
- Develop / maintain outbound call coaching culture
- Manage BDR team to monitor capacity and productivity
- Build a world-class business development team by recruiting, training, and developing BDRs.
- Offer and coach towards career advancement opportunities within the BDR program and up into AE roles.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing leaders to design campaigns that align with their territory plans and goals.
- Be willing to lead by doing, and take on prospecting responsibilities when the need arises.
- Ensure the BDR onboarding program and ongoing training is relevant and up-to-date.
- Provide the BDR team with the necessary tool training, such as Salesforce.com, Definitive Health, Linkedin, Outreach.io, and Gong, to perform their job effectively and efficiently.
- Maintain a focus on the quality of opportunities while achieving a high quantity, and prioritize the impact on the sales cycle, close rates, pipeline contribution, and average deal size as the core metrics.
