We are seeking a Risk and Insurance Analyst who will be responsible for managing all General Liability and Property insurance across our portfolio. The Risk and Insurance Analyst will also be responsible for identifying risks and assisting in designing and implementing risk mitigations plans.
Responsibilities:
- Obtaining and analyzing quotes for property insurance
- Building a rapport and managing relationships with third party service providers such as brokers and underwriters.
- Tracks and helps manage all claims to ensure they are handled appropriately from initial reporting to final resolution.
- Scheduling and managing Loss Control and Lender Inspections
- Develops and implements standards, policies and processes related to risk management
- Educate colleagues and onsite property teams on basic principles of navigating risk management.
- Process tenant Reasonable Accommodation Requests
What you bring:
- Strong understanding of property insurance including, General Liability and Property Insurance
- Insurance certifications preferred
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work well with a variety of roles within and outside the company
- Self-starter attitude, reliability, discretion, and ability to maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times
- Strong understanding of property financials and reading income and expense statements
- Ability to effectively prioritize and organize work
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel)
- Real estate or property management experience preferred
