Pay Range: $19 - $21/hr. *based on experience*

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm with overtime available

GENERAL SUMMARY: The Warehouse Associate processes receipt, storage, and shipment of finished goods and raw materials. Stages materials for production and moves them to / from the production floor. Responsible for food handling in accordance with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plans. *The Warehouse Associate will be working in a freezer environment*

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• • Posts receipt or movement of any product to ERP
  • Stages all material needed to successfully mix, produce and package products on all manufacturing lines, ensuring that production is not interrupted for lack of materials.
  • Stores or ships all finished goods product from designated production area
  • Takes returns from production and re-racks according to need
  • Notifies warehouse Manager for inspection of incoming product
  • Rotates product date codes during pulling operations
  • Maintains inventory accuracy
  • Maintains safety and sanitation standards
  • Able to work independently with little direction
  • Able to perform other duties as directed by Warehouse Manager

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• • Requires working flexible hours as needs of the business dictates
  • Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing
  • Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
  • Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching
  • Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 60 pounds
  • Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, food allergens and gas.
  • Must be able to work in the heat/steam and cold environment and do manual labor

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• • High School degree or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience preferred
  • Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math
  • Experience with forklifts and power jacks.
  • Utilize computer and software to accommodate required transactions
