Position Purpose
The primary goal of this role is to develop, update, and maintain high-quality documentation for software products developed by PLEXIS. This includes creating user guides, product manuals, and technical reference materials tailored for both external clients and internal team members. Occasionally, the technical writer may also be tasked with documenting third-party software tools utilized by PLEXIS. The documentation produced will be critical in ensuring users and staff can effectively understand, utilize, and troubleshoot the software.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties
Essential functions and basic duties include the creation and maintenance of user documentation for various PLEXIS software products. Such documentation includes :
- User guides
- Software documentation made available via web portal (new site page documentation, existing page updates)
- Release notes
- Other documentation relating to a PLEXIS product
- Creation and / or maintenance of documentation for software that is used at PLEXIS, though not created by PLEXIS
