Senior Director Business Development

Plexos Group LLC is a leading firm specializing in providing comprehensive solutions for infrastructure projects. Our mission is to build long-term community resilience and sustainability through transformative civil and social infrastructure projects. We are currently expanding our operations in New Mexico and are looking for a dynamic Business Development Director to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in New Mexico.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profits, and private sector partners.
• Collaborate with the existing BD team to align strategies and share insights.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
• Participate in networking events, conferences, and industry forums to promote the company's services.
• Track and report on business development activities, including lead generation, pipeline management, and sales metrics.
• Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and visibility in New Mexico.
• Attain more business in the areas of General Infrastructure, Federal Grant Programs, and IIJA funded programs expansion.
• Seek work in the private sector infrastructure in public services such as utilities, schools, hospitals, or other public service building infrastructure program support.
• Build relationships with various New Mexico departments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel within New Mexico as needed.
