Plexos Group, LLC is hiring Small Business Support Specialists to support grant writing and disaster recovery support to small businesses impacted by the South Fork and Salt Fires. This position is grant-funded and will last for a duration of one year from the data of hire with the possibility of extension pending available funding.

Our project team has more than 100 years of combined experience in managing disaster recovery and has led disaster recovery programs in excess of $25 billion.

Plexos Group, LLC is hiring Small Business Support Specialists to support grant writing and disaster recovery support to small businesses impacted by the South Fork and Salt Fires. Responsibilities:
- Work independently and as part of a team to support disaster recovery program delivery.
- Schedule technical assistance appointments.
- Provide standard case management functions for small businesses, including the development of disaster recovery plans, support applications to grants and local, state, and federal programs under the plan, and guidance as the resident implements their recovery plan.
- Take referrals, make cold calls, and attend outreach events.
- Track support progress.
- Provide grant implementation and administration guidance and technical assistance to small businesses awarded funding.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Teams, SharePoint, and Disaster Case Management program software
- Must possess a valid New Mexico driver license
- Able to pass a federal background check
- Familiarity with Southern New Mexico’s cultural values and history is required
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Social Work, or related field.
- Masters degree in Business Administration
- Experience working with small businesses and/or knowledge of challenges small businesses face
- Experience writing grants
