The Junior FEMA Public Assistance (PA) Specialist will support disaster recovery efforts in Florida, focusing on post-hurricane disaster scenarios. This role involves working closely with FEMA and local government officials to provide supplemental disaster grant assistance for the repair, replacement, and restoration of disaster-damaged public facilities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct virtual site damage inspections and assessments.
- Develop cost estimates and scopes of work for disaster recovery projects.
- Participate in virtual exploratory calls and recovery scoping meetings.
- Review and validate project documentation.
- Determine hazard mitigation requirements.
- Provide guidance on environmental and historic preservation reviews.
