Purpose Statement: Responsible for providing technical leadership and execution of strategic initiatives working closely with regional Manufacturing Engineering leaders to continuously evolve operations, increase productivity and reduce cost by:
- Enhancing our ability to drive scalable, global solutions
- Identifying, establishing and continuously improving standard work globally that drives consistency across tools, reporting, and processes
- Sscaling global Best practices
- Achieving consistent high-quality standards at all sites globally
- Providing escalation support for technical issues
- Developing action plans to improve key performance indicators (KPIs) and achieve Best-in-class execution performance
- Developing necessary technical skills of subject matter experts (SMEs)
- Monitoring compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Alignment on new solutions with the Manufacturing and Sustaining Services Technology team
- Lead effective deployment of new solutions
Key Job Accountabilities: Characterize and control the critical operational standards and methods that enables quality, cost and delivery on the customer products. Lead best practices sharing and adoption within engineering operations. Lead process capability matrix relative to technology roadmap. Lead the execution of equipment installation, operational and performance qualification. Be the standard work subject matter expert for manufacturing operations. Ensure the processes, organizational capability and culture combine to consistently meet commitments to customers. Must be able to build collaborative relationships with internal and external customers. Lead the selection and development of standard work for specified processes and technologies.
Education/Experience Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required. Ten (10) years of related experience is required. General Knowledge of ISO 9000, AS9100, TL9000, ISO 13485, FDA GMP Quality System Requirements, through training or hands on experience is necessary for success in this role. Black Belt certification is preferred.
Travel Requirements: Typically about 25%. That may increase depending on project demands
