We're hiring a Marketing Events Coordinator!

The Role:

As a Marketing Event Coordinator at Plexus Worldwide, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable, on-brand event experiences that captivate, engage, and inspire our community. Your focus will be on enhancing event engagement through strategic marketing activations, seamless brand integration, and data-driven planning. Success in this role is measured by the impact your contributions have on attendee satisfaction, brand presence, and event ROI across multiple signature events throughout the year.

What You Will Accomplish (KPIs):

  • Elevate at least 4 major events annually by implementing marketing activations that drive measurable increases in attendee engagement and satisfaction.

  • Improve attendee experience scores year-over-year through brand-enhancing onsite and digital elements.

  • Deliver all event-related signage, merchandise, and experiential elements on time and within budget in coordination with vendors.

  • Contribute to marketing campaigns that increase event participation and social media engagement by 10–15% across key events.

  • Support the development of post-event reports with actionable data insights to improve future strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Marketing Execution: Partner with Events and Marketing teams to design and deliver cohesive event experiences that are on-brand and engaging.

  • Brand Activation: Identify and implement creative touchpoints—before, during, and after events—that bring the brand to life and create lasting impressions.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams including Social Media, Recognition, and Creative to ensure consistent messaging and event alignment.

  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external partners on signage, merchandise, and experiential items to ensure timely and quality execution.

  • Data & Strategy: Assist in tracking attendee engagement metrics and contribute to strategy refinements using data-backed insights.

  • Trend Research: Stay on top of marketing and event industry trends to propose new ideas and innovative technologies for event enhancement.

  • Flexible Support: Be available for occasional evenings, weekends, or holiday support during peak event periods.

Performance-Based Qualifications:

  • Educational Foundation:
    Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.

  • Proven Expertise:

    • 2 years of experience in event coordination or marketing, with a demonstrated ability to manage logistics and enhance attendee engagement.

    • Experience supporting large-scale events and collaborating across departments to deliver high-quality brand experiences.

    • Previous exposure to the direct selling industry is a plus.

  • Strategic & Creative Skills:

    • Strong eye for detail, from brand consistency to logistics management.

    • Able to assess gaps in the attendee journey and offer actionable solutions that improve satisfaction and participation.

    • Knowledge of marketing campaign planning and event lifecycle strategies.

  • Communication & Collaboration:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal coordination and external vendor communication.

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and anticipate roadblocks before they arise.

    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy team environment with shifting priorities.
