What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Supervisor position at PLI Card Marketing Solutions?
Job Summary : Primary responsibilities for the Production Supervisor are to coordinate and direct the daily activities in manufacturing and resolve quality issues to ensure a quality product is delivered to the customer in a timely manner. Other duties include coordination with other departments to satisfy customer needs for product and resolution of defective product issues.

- Supervise and coordinate work activities of personnel in card manufacturing along with personnel in other departments with no on duty Supervisor.
- Manage the daily production schedules in all of card manufacturing.
- Communicate maintenance issues to Production Manager and Maintenance Department to ensure timely repair of machinery.
- Review and answer issues concerning quality or functionality of product.
- Track and review waste from production process to ensure efficient material use. Complete detailed production reports consisting of a daily shift summary and data entry of completed production.
- Complete basic human resource duties such as time keeping (payroll), vacation approvals and employee evaluations
- Assure all safety standards and procedures are followed.
- Perform these and other duties as assigned by Production Manager or other appropriate management personnel.
- Work overtime as needed to meet customer needs.
