PLITEK L.L.C. is looking to fill an immediate position as a Extruder Machine Operator. This important position requires a self starter, quality minded, and responsible individual. Knowledge in Extrusion Machinery (blown, cast, sheet, injection molding), press set-up, and process improvements is a must.
To Note : The role may shift at times from just running an extruder, to running other presses in the factory as demand shifts.
The candidate will be responsible for product quality, completing process runs & documentation. Primarily extruding plastic based films. Must have some experience with the extrusion process!!!
Job Description :
12 hour shifts and overnight rotations are possible :
- Machine operating experience, training, or education is required.
- Creative problem solving skills and demonstrates a willingness to learn.
- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of using quality measuring devices.
- Strong interpersonal oral and written communication skills.
- Must have the ability to perform basic math
- Will conduct quality inspections, and record results as required.
