Job Description: As a Market Sales Associate, you will promote and sell our products at local markets, craft fairs, and community events. You will be the face of our brand, engaging with customers, showcasing our products, and helping us expand our presence in the local community. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is hardworking, enjoys interacting with people, and wants to be part of a team that values creativity, collaboration, and growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Set-Up & Breakdown: Set up and break down product displays at local markets, ensuring all merchandise is displayed in an attractive and organized manner.
- Customer Interaction: Engage with customers, answer questions, and provide product information in a friendly and approachable manner.
- Sales Goals: Meet or exceed daily sales targets by actively promoting products and encouraging purchases.
- Market Research: Observe and report on customer feedback and competitor activity to help improve our offerings and market strategy.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain thorough knowledge of products and company history to effectively communicate with potential customers.
- Inventory Management: Ensure product inventory is stocked and organized throughout the event.
- Brand Representation: Represent the company professionally and consistently, building positive relationships with customers and vendors.
Qualifications:
- Previous Sales Experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person!
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to engage with customers and communicate clearly.
- Self-Motivated & Reliable: Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Friendly & Approachable: Must be comfortable interacting with a variety of customers.
- Ability to Lift & Carry Merchandise: Must be able to lift boxes and set up product displays.
- Flexible Schedule: Ability to work weekends and mornings, as most local markets take place during these times.
