**Job Overview**
We are seeking a reliable, dedicated, professional, and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our fast-paced state-of-the-art dental office. As the first point of contact for patients, the Patient Care Coordinator plays a vital role in providing exceptional care and support. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, excellent communication, and a passion for patient care.
**Responsibilities**
- Greet and welcome patients, and visitors in a warm courteous manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls, ensuring that all messages are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manage patient records, including scheduling appointments and updates.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHRs) such as Dentrix to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Send and respond to emails.
**Requirements**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- 10 years experience with customer service or in a similar administrative role.
- Moderate knowledge of dental terminology and procedures, or willingness to learn.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including outlook, word, and excel.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a family type team setting, with forward thinking skills keeping the flow of the office efficient.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
