BI Reporting Analyst

Position Overview
Our BI (Business Intelligence) Reporting Analysts design, develop, and maintains BI solutions to support business goals and objectives including enhancing our Business Intelligence system. Develop reporting systems that provide accessible information for better decision making. Develop and execute queries upon request for data from different functional teams. Present information through reports and visualization.

Job Responsibilities
As a BI Reporting Analyst, you will perform professional services in support of business intelligence and reporting systems providing data and reports for data-driven business decisions. You will:
- Translate business needs to technical specifications
- Design, build, and deploy BI solutions (e.g., reporting tools)
- Support data analytics platforms
- Collaborate with different teams to integrate systems
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
- Create visualizations and reports for requests from different functional teams
- Develop and update technical documentation and reporting requirements
- Other duties as assigned
- Proven experience in developing reporting, analytical and database systems for both cloud-based and on-premises environments
- 3-5 years of experience as a BI developer or reporting analyst
- 3-5 years of experience working with complex SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- 1-2 years of experience with SQL Databases in Azure environment, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Azure Cosmos DB (or other NoSQL databases)
- Functional experience with Microsoft Excel
- Functional experience with data visualization tools
- Familiarity with data warehouse concepts
- Basic familiarity with data governance and quality
- Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 15 lbs.
