Position Overview:
The Facility Maintenance Technician will be responsible for supporting all area PLS store locations. The candidate will initiate, perform and oversee preventative maintenance and repair procedures. He/she will also oversee small improvement projects and services, as needed. This position will report directly to Director of Operations.

The Facility Maintenance Technician will be responsible for supporting all area PLS store locations. The candidate will initiate, perform and oversee preventative maintenance and repair procedures. He/she will also oversee small improvement projects and services, as needed. This position will report directly to Director of Operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Initiate, perform and oversee maintenance projects for all area PLS store locations.
- Perform repairs such as basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting assignments.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform necessary repairs.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed and in a timely manner.
- Develop scopes of work for small improvements/services and seek out qualified contractors to bid the work.
- Obtain estimates for supplies repair parts, and order parts as needed.
- 1 to 2 years of related experience in facility maintenance.
- Previous experience with basic electrical and carpentry repairs, simple plumbing, and painting.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License, a good driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Available to work an 8-hour shift, 40 hours a week.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Travel within PLS business market area of Cleveland OH, Columbus OH & Cincinnati OH
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. without frequent assistance.
- Must be able to climb up and down ladders and stand or stoop for long periods of time.
