Position Overview :
Account reconciliation analysts are responsible for analyzing and reconciling account information for PLS stores, as well as verifying that all charges in debit, credit, cash, or other payment methods are reconciled on a regular basis. This role will also complete the daily reconciliation of store and bank deposits for multiple locations, inter-store transfers and complete daily follow-ups with stores on the resolution of reconciliation variances.
Job Responsibilities :
- Enter data from the source into Blackline.
- Use multiple computer applications to access information. Perform day-to-day activities that ensure effective management of assigned account management systems including bank portals, iStream (check processer), Blackline, and Excel.
- Audit daily store consolidation reports for various locations.
- Analyze bank deposits and publish exception reports.
- Automatically and manually match bank transactions to subledger and GL (General Ledger).
- Support the month-end close process to accurately record and report timely financial transactions as mandated by company policy.
- Perform reconciliations for assigned stores. Propose adjustments and actions for reconciliation items.
- Proactively work with Operations employees to resolve discrepancies.
- Check source for accuracy and verify data when needed.
- Research and obtain further information for incomplete requests.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean environment.
- Perform other duties as instructed by management.
