What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chef de Partie position at Pluckemin Inn?
The Pluckemin Inn, a fine dining restaurant in Bedminster NJ is seeking an experienced & professional cook to work a busy Entremet station. We are an established team looking to add a couple more like-minded professionals to the mix. Potential hire should have 2-4 years experience in higher volume upscale setting. Fine dining is preferred but not required. Candidate will be trained in all aspects of this station which are :
-coordinate with sous chefs on daily prep and product rotation
- all vegetable and garnish work including sauces, purees, stocks/broths and daily veg work
- Sous Vide cookery
-assist with family meal production as needed
-take ownership of station to effectively manage mise en place
This position is ideal for a hungry cook looking to grow into a sous chef position. Perks and bonuses of the job include excellent hourly pay plus overtime, 5 day work week, every Sunday off (we are closed) , most major holidays off, paid vacation after one year, medical & dental benefits offered, and out of work before 10pm most nights.
