HOW WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
Business Development
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings with leads and corporate partners
- Research past partnerships & develop case studies
- Source, qualify, and track leads for new partnerships
- Support the development of partnership proposals
Plug and Play Foundation
- Identify and engage potential donors, corporate partners, and funding opportunities
- Support planning and execution of a new on-site innovation lab & related programming
- Help build a local presence by engaging schools, universities, and colleges
Accelerator Programming
- Track startup progress regarding funding, product development, go-to-market, etc.
- Assist with direct startup support (roadmap development, strategic guidance, etc.)
- Coordinate events, SME mentor sessions, and office hours
- Manage outreach to (and ongoing correspondence with) relevant SMEs, then support the development of content that is relevant to both the SME and the cohort startup
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1 years of work experience in the capacity of other internships, part-time or full-time work
- Demonstrated interest in tech innovation (either work, academic, extra-curricular, etc.)
- Available to work 4 days per week at Plug & Play’s Silicon Valley HQ (Sunnyvale, CA)

Work or internship experience in startup operations, consulting, enterprise sales/account management, or similar.
- Network-orientation: has a passion for engaging with unfamiliar perspectives, finding opportunities for mutual support, and developing productive relationships
- Curiosity: (1) is actively seeking new information from a range of available sources to always improve their immediate work product, and (2) is constantly distilling their observations into learnings that enable unique perspectives and insight
- Entrepreneurialism: a thoughtful self-starter & self-developed - energized by the prospect of building and executing strategies based on limited guidance; is comfortable pivoting when parameters shift
- Executive Function: (1) can communicate effectively about ability & capacity (with a strong desire to develop both over the course of the internship); and (2) can balance pace/multitasking with depth/attention to detail for each type of project, and can effectively ask for guidance thereon.
