Job Summary:
The Service Administrator is responsible for coordinating and supporting the daily operations of the service department. This role involves managing service requests, maintaining records, assisting customers, and ensuring smooth communication between teams to enhance service efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
· Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, service requests, and scheduling.
· Process and maintain service orders, invoices, and relevant documentation.
· Coordinate service appointments and dispatch technicians as needed.
· Ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping for service reports, customer accounts, and work orders.
· Assist the service team with administrative tasks, including preparing reports and tracking inventory.
· Communicate with customers regarding service status, updates, and follow-ups.
· Monitor service department performance and provide support to improve efficiency.
· Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and parts, to ensure seamless operations.
· Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Previous experience in administrative support, preferably in a service-related industry.
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
· Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
· High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or higher preferred).
