Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Line Cook located in Southfield, MI. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals according to recipes and standards, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines, and ensuring timely and efficient kitchen operations. Other responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized workspace, collaborating with kitchen staff, managing food stock, and assisting with menu development as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a professional kitchen
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience is a plus
